Honey is highly viscous and its flow changes with temperature. Filling it correctly takes a system that measures the product without forcing it, without dripping and without trapping air bubbles. The Türesan honey filling machine is designed for each product, for jars, bottles and portion cups.
What matters in honey filling
- Volumetric (servo piston) filling: measures volume independently of how the thick honey flows.
- Anti-drip nozzle: stops the honey thread at the end of the fill from soiling the jar neck.
- Level-controlled balance tank: gives the piston a steady product supply.
With format parts, the same machine can be adapted to jam, grape molasses, tahini and chocolate spread. For jar filling, the jam filling machine and chocolate filling machine pages are also useful.

Hygiene
All product-contact surfaces are AISI 316L stainless steel, and the balance tank can be cleaned in place (C.I.P.). Parts that can be removed without tools shorten cleaning and product changeovers. For hygiene criteria on food lines, see our food and beverage page.
Capping and the line
For capping, gripper, three-ball, pick & place, flat clamping, rolling and press systems are available, driven by servo torque, asynchronous motor, mechanical torque or air motor. Caps are fed to the station by an elevator, vibratory bowl or rotary table. On a fully automatic line, the bottle feeding table, air bottle cleaning, filling, capping, labelling, check weigher, metal detector and inkjet date coding run in sync on the same conveyor.
For portion cups of honey and jam, the linear filling and closing machine fills and foil-seals them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can honey be filled into jars?
Yes, with nozzles and a conveyor layout suited to jars and bottles; capping and labelling can be added to the same line.
Can portion honey and jam be filled?
For cups and small portion packs, the linear filling and closing machine fills and foil-seals them.
What is the filling accuracy?
Liquid and semi-fluid filling runs at ±0.3% accuracy; this is confirmed in the project for the honey's temperature and viscosity.
