Medicine Bottle Labelling Machine

Medicine bottle labelling machine

On a medicine package, the label is a legal document carrying the product name, dosage, batch number and expiry date. A skewed, wrinkled or missing label stops the product from reaching the market. The Türesan medicine bottle labelling machine is built to apply the label in the same position every time, on round bottles and on square packs.

Labelling types

  • Full wrap labelling (round bottles): the most common application on syrup and drop bottles.
  • Single-sided / double-sided labelling: front and back labels on square and flat bottles.
  • Top and bottom labelling: applications on boxes and cap tops.

The labelling station supports full wrap, single-sided, double-sided and top-and-bottom labelling; the AISI 304 machine can be fitted with a domestic or imported applicator.

Traceability

Batch number and expiry date are printed on the line by inkjet; the check weigher and metal detector automatically reject faulty products. This set-up supports the record keeping and traceability expected in pharmaceutical production.

Line integration

The labelling machine can run on its own or be connected to the same conveyor as the syrup filling and medicine bottle capping stations. Format changes are simple; change parts for different bottle diameters are matched to product recipes.
