Water-based and solvent-based paints, varnishes and primers are thick, sometimes thixotropic products, usually sold in buckets or tins. Keeping the container rim clean and seating the lid correctly are part of product quality.
Bucket and tin filling
The bucket filling and closing machine works in the 2000–20000 ml range with servo-controlled volumetric and flowmeter filling; it has 1–4 nozzle options and press lid closing. For small cans and bottles, a linear liquid filling machine is used.
For solvent-based products, the suitability of the electrical equipment for the operating environment is assessed separately at the project stage.

Safety and automation
Manual filling of chemical products is risky for operator safety and causes product loss. Türesan automatic filling and packaging lines are designed with materials suited to the chemical properties of the product, for capacities in the range of 1,000–20,000 units per hour. For capping, gripper, three-ball, pick & place, flat clamping, rolling and press systems are available, driven by servo torque, asynchronous motor, mechanical torque or air motor. Caps are fed to the station by an elevator, vibratory bowl or rotary table.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can paint be filled into buckets?
Yes; the bucket filling and closing machine fills and closes in the 2000–20000 ml range.
Can thick paint be measured accurately?
Servo-controlled volumetric filling measures thick products repeatably by volume.
What is needed for solvent-based paints?
Electrical equipment suited to the environment and the product is assessed separately at the project stage.
