PDPL CLARIFICATION TEXT (Personal Data Protection Law)

As Türesan Makine, we attach great importance to the security and confidentiality of your personal data within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”). This Clarification Text has been prepared to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data are processed, the methods and legal grounds of collection, and your rights under PDPL.

1. Data Controller

Pursuant to PDPL, your personal data are processed by Türesan Makine in the capacity of the data controller.

• PDPL Art. 5/2-c: Processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract,

• PDPL Art. 5/2-f: Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller,

• PDPL Art. 5/2-ç: Processing is necessary for compliance with legal obligations.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to:

• Authorized public institutions and organizations,

• Within the scope of legal obligations.

Except for these cases, your personal data are not shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

6. Retention Period of Personal Data

Your personal data are retained for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation and for as long as required by the purpose of processing. Upon the expiration of these periods, personal data are deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with PDPL.

7. Your Rights Under PDPL

Pursuant to Article 11 of PDPL, as data subjects, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data are processed,

• Request information if your personal data have been processed,

• Learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with this purpose,

• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,

• Request the deletion or destruction of personal data,

• Request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing.

8. Application Method

You may submit your requests regarding your rights under PDPL to Türesan Makine via written application, registered electronic mail (KEP), e-mail, or through the communication channels available on our website.
